Annette Hannah


Annette is a registered Psychologist with the NZ Psychologist Board, and has many years of experience in private practice with both adults and adolescents. She provides psychological and counselling services, assessment and therapy, consultancy services and seminars, as well as providing supervision for people in a variety of professions. Annette is a member of both the NZ Psychological Society and the NZ EMDR Institute.

Annette is trained in a number of therapy types including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and other approaches depending on what is needed.

Annette undertakes Psychological assessments for missionary organisations in association with Go Well and is a trained mediator who does voluntary mediation for the Dunedin Mediation Service.

In the past, Annette has been involved in mental health education at the University of Otago in both the Medical and Dental Schools and has publications in the areas of gender and language, communication skills, and Emotional Intelligence. Annette also worked for several years as a Psychologist at Columba College providing support and Therapy for students, staff and parents.
